When communicating with others online, it is important to be respectful.
When people read emails, instant messages, texts and written posts, it is hard to tell the 'tone' they are written in. The 'tone' is how someone says something. This communication with others is a part of your digital footprint. It is very important to be respectful whether speaking in person or sending a digital message.
